I Oversaw production and development patterns alongside the head
patternmaker. Gerber was my main tool for correcting and developing patterns.
I assisted the head patternmaker in every fit session for all development and
production patterns. Drapings from the head designer were adjusted and
corrected by me. I was in charge of sending all the patterns from the
patternmakers to the tech designers to be sent domestically and internationally
for production. I cut and constructed samples by hand for development
techniques. Organized and supported my boss in tasks
such as creating cutter’s must and developing tech packs.

December 2010 to October 2011
I was the Head Designer of the Spring 2012 season during
New York Fashion Week produced by MILK. Oversaw domestic
and International Production. Met weekly with factories and
worked directly with patternmakers. Created flat sketches,
illustrations and development concepts for Men’s RTW collection.
Held private clientele fittings for made-to-order custom suits.

February 2008 to May 2008
I Interned as an assistant designer and patternmaker. My roles
included draping, researching trends, creating line sheets, and
sketching concepts. I interned here for school credit.

Accademia Internazionale di Moda e Arte del Costume Koefia; Rome, Italy
Haute Couture; September 2009 to July 2010
A full scholarship ride to attend this Italian accademy in Rome, I focused
on haute couture techniques from Italian master’s including;
draping with paper and muslin, hand sewing techniques and steps,
and haute couture construction techniques. I showed during
haute couture fashion week, June 2010, as a final showcase of my studies

The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising; Los Angeles, California
Advanced Pret-A-Porter Program; July 2008 to February 2009
Emphasis on collection development from first idea to final product. Over
the course of 9 months I completed and debuted a complete collection
for my thesis during Los Angeles Fashion Week. I was responsible for
patternmaking, sewing, and developing my own collection. After great appraisal for
my collection I was awarded the Koefia Scholarship in Rome, Italy ($12,000).
